Due to the current hydrometeorological situation, which is followed by a dry period and extremely high temperatures, all springs on the city's water supply system show signs of reduced yield.

For the same reasons, signs of increased water consumption are present in almost all measuring zones of the city's water supply system.

In these circumstances, KJP "Izvor" Petrovac na Mlava appeals to fellow citizens to use water responsibly and rationally in order to avoid serious disruptions in the water supply.

We appeal to our fellow citizens to be in solidarity and use water for its basic purposes - drinking, cooking and maintaining personal hygiene. Watering gardens, green and concrete surfaces, washing cars with a hose, filling swimming pools and other uncontrolled consumption represents irrational consumption. Irrational consumption can lead to serious disturbances that can affect the regular supply of water to all our users.

Once again, we ask all citizens to be responsible and conscientious towards their fellow citizens, because summer and the period without precipitation is just beginning.
